The Swansea Chronicler is a local history side project covering Swansea, Gower and nearby places through short readable articles.
It started as a Facebook page for sharing local history posts, forgotten places, old articles and interesting Swansea stories. The website gives those posts a better home: cleaner reading, searchable archive pages, image credits and source links.
The site is still part of nathm.net, which means it also shows the kind of practical website work I can build and maintain.
Stories are written in plain English and checked against available sources where possible. When using old newspaper stories or historic images, the aim is to add context, avoid long copied text and link readers back to the material used.
Corrections and extra sources are welcome.
